High School Musical

The didj version of High School Musical has plenty of characters from East High. Children between the ages of 8 and 10 can learn musical forms, melody, rhythm, and fractions from High School Musical. I spent most of my time in this game helping characters from the High School Musical franchise.

High School Musical has a lot of bright colors. The artwork of the characters look sort of like their real life counter parts. The artwork looks similar to what we see on the Nintendo DS. They do not have a lot of animations, so that was a bit of a let down. I noticed that the overwhelming majority of character have wise attire choices.

The High School Musical franchise is known for its music. Songs play in the background while kids are playing the didj version of High School Musical. I recognized a few of the songs, and liked what I heard. As I previously mentioned there is a fair amount of helping others in this game. Simple things like clean up the backstage area, and take items back to their owners.

There are some neat little badges to earn, and a suitable length in the main game. Game customization is also possible through a PC/Internet connection. Families that have kids in the proper age range who enjoy High School Musical will find their money well spent on this game (editor: possession of a didj helps as well).

I was not impressed with the way High School Musical on the didj controls. Moving around the school is clunking. Using arrows on the screen, or the 'B' button in combination with the D-pad. If you have been inside a room before, then you can go there through a map. The problem with that is many times this game has the player going back and forth between two rooms. I did enjoy helping others, so that scores points for High School Musical.

I have always been a fan of music. In fact I have written some of my own praise and hymns. I appreciate how High School Musical teaches a little bit about music. There is a lot of arts and music in High School Musical. I would like to see a sequel to this game.
