Hasbro Family Game Night 2

I really enjoy getting to play, and review games like Hasbro Family Game Night 2 on the Wii. This family friendly title contains Operation, Jenga, Connect 4x4, Bop It, and Pictureka. All of these translation easily to the Wii. In fact games like Jenga are easier to play on the Wii than in real life (editor: have you ever tried to put the tower back together).

Hasbro Family Game Night 2 has a graphical gloss and shine I was not expecting. EA did not skimp on the graphics. Mr. Potato Head animates well, and is a wonderful host. These games look very accurate to their real life counter parts. There are a fair amount of colors used, and the different background themes are a nice touch.

There are a lot of different musical selections available in Hasbro Family Game Night 2. I enjoyed some of the pirate theme songs myself. Hasbro Family Game Night 2 takes the time to teach the player the games so they can compete against other players and/or the computer. I did not find any offensive sounds while playing this Wii game.

Four family members can sit down and play Hasbro Family Game Night 2 together. Hasbro Family Game Night 2 can be played by one person, but it is so much better to play it with others. EA included a lot of unlockable content. Most of this is pieces that can be used to customize Mr. Potato Head. Hasbro Family Game Night 2 includes a nice array of different styles for this character.

Hasbro Family Game Night 2 contains the classic mode for each game as well as a new updated version. These enhanced versions add a real spin to the games. There are power ups, and defenses that increase the depth and strategy. Everyone I played Hasbro Family Game Night 2 with had a lot of fun. You win some, and you lose some. The ultimate goal was spending some good quality time together, and this Wii game achieves that.

I feel so blessed that I was allowed to play and review Hasbro Family Game Night 2. This is a game that our family will cherish, play, and enjoy for years to come. I am happy to see EA continue this franchise, and hope for another sequel. I will be recommending Hasbro Family Game Night 2 to friends, family, and pastors I know.
