Disney Sing It High School Musical 3 Senior Year

Disney Sing It High School Musical 3 Senior Year takes High School Musical 3 and mixes it with Disney Sing It. This gives this game the best of both worlds. The Wii version was used for this review, however this game is also on the Playstation 2 (PS2), Playstation 3 (PS3), and Xbox 360. If you are familiar with the High School Musical movies then you can know exactly what kind of music and dancing is contained.

The music videos in Disney Sing It High School Musical 3 Senior Year are a lot cleaner than I expected them to be. I have never seen the movies, but the videos that go along with the songs are actually from the movies. There are a couple of videos where the dancing gets a little MTV kind of gyrations, or the attire will raise an eyebrow or two (like swimsuits by the pools). The red color used when the singer is on fire (my nomenclature not the games) works perfectly for this style of game.

All of the songs in Disney Sing It High School Musical 3 Senior Year are quick. Thankfully the game is very forgiving at the lower difficulty settings. I am also very pleased at the family friendly nature of most of the songs. There were a few where a specific character was being selfish. The prom song was interesting because the guys were not into the whole pomp and circumstance surrounding that event.

There are quite a few songs in Disney Sing It High School Musical 3 Senior Year. They are each so intense that I found I would tired out after three songs. Duets as well as multiple difficulty settings round out this section nicely.

A microphone is required to play Disney Sing It High School Musical 3 Senior Year.  The Disney ones that have come with other Sing It games have a wonderfully long cord. I liked how the game showed me where my vocals were so I could adjust them on the fly to get into the scoring boxes. This game was found to be fun for a lot of different age groups, and genders here at Family Friendly Gaming.

Disney Sing It High School Musical 3 Senior Year is a vast improvement over the original Disney Sing It, as the score reflects. I would like to see a sequel, especially if Disney did one from a lot of their different movies. Songs from Mary Poppins, or their vault of animated films would make be a cool sequel. Fans of High School Musical should check out this game on the Wii, PS2, PS3, or Xbox 360.
