Diner Dash Flo on the Go
SCORE: 87
Flo is getting a much deserved vacation on a cruise ship. As she is
getting on the ship the cooking staff leaves in a huff, and her bag gets
knocked into the water. The few staff members left on the ship are not
very good at serving the passengers. Flo gets offered a job on the ship
that will pay back her passage fare along with let her purchase new
clothes. So she decides to work as a waitress serving the fellow
passengers on the cruise ship. Flo's closet is one of the features that
is new to me.
The graphics in Diner Dash Flo on the Go for the Nintendo DS are small.
I was expecting them to be a little larger from my previous experience
with this franchise. You can tell who is a person, and what is a table,
etc. The scaled down graphics from say the Personal Computer (PC)
experience is evident. Diner Dash Flo on the Go has a lot of wild colors
that are very bright. There is also a tropical feel to some of the
clothes Flo can wear. I like the customization to the clothing in this
DS game as well.
Diner Dash Flo on the Go has some very addicting music. I enjoyed
listening to the uplifting music in this hand held video game. I
appreciate the whole service nature of Diner Dash Flo on the Go as well.
Here she is on her vacation, helping others. A heart like that is
fantastic. I did not hear any offensive sounds, nor did I read any
offensive language in this hand held video game.
Zoo Games made sure there are a large amount of playable levels in Diner
Dash Flo on the Go for the DS. This game also includes a nice array of
clothing and accessories that are unlockable. If two players have a copy
of this game, there is also a multi-card feature. That means you can
play this game with a friend. Sorry no single card download play is
included.
Diner Dash Flo on the Go is a really simple game to control. Use the
touch screen to drag customers to their tables. They will animate when
they want a menu, are ready to order, and when they want to pay. The
quicker you perform these tasks the higher your score will be. This
sounds really easy, but it can become difficult in later levels. Trying
to keep demanding customers happy can be a chore.
Families can rest assured that Diner Dash Flo on the Go is safe for the
entire family. I like this franchise on the Nintendo DS. It plays better
with the touch screen in my opinion. I find it interesting that a
different publisher picked it up. Whatever is needed to get sequels to
the people is my opinion. Diner Dash Flo on the Go teaches servanthood.
