Animal Kingdom Wildlife Expedition

Natsume is having a banner year in terms of family friendly titles. Animal Kingdom Wildlife Expedition is a cute little photography game with a lot of polish. Players get to take pictures of animals on an island. This Wii game included a little robot guide - Stupendo. He helps the player with how to sneak up on animals, make them more comfortable around you, and when to take the shot. He also explains the controls in the tutorial (editor: which the game starts the player with). An editor will request certain shots, and at the end of the day players upload them. These pictures are graded by the staff at headquarters.

Animal Kingdom Wildlife Expedition looks a lot better on the Wii than I was expecting. The animals look realistic, and animate very similar to the real thing. Animal Island has some diverse environments that range from jungle to savanna. There are also some mountainous regions. Animal Kingdom Wildlife Expedition contains a wide array of different animals. The majority of them have an African continent theme. Be careful around carnivores.

The music in Animal Kingdom Wildlife Expedition is cheerful, and uplifting. I like the special effect sounds, and there is a lot of wonderful photography advice. The editor is an excitable character who is not good at disguising his disappointment. It is cool how helpful the little robot Stupendo is, even though he has a strange name. I did not learn a lot about the animals, but enjoyed observing them in their natural habitats.

Natsume hid items all over the island in Animal Kingdom Wildlife Expedition. Every single trip around the island I found extras. There are multiple paths to be taken, and a fair amount of quests to complete. I feel that Animal Kingdom Wildlife Expedition is worth your hard earned dollars. Only one player can play this Wii game at a time.

Animal Kingdom Wildlife Expedition is extremely easy to play. Finding animals is simple, but getting in the right spot for the shot can be more of a challenge. The player has to sneak up on the animals without spooking them. When the right spacing is achieved, then the shot can be taken. As long as the animal is still doing the right thing. Otherwise patience is required.

Animal Kingdom Wildlife Expedition teaches gamers to respect wildlife, and to be careful when around them. I also learned that what makes a good photograph is different for different people. I would like a sequel to this game, especially if the walk around areas were made larger. Animal Kingdom Wildlife Expedition is safe for the entire family.
