AMBL Alien Monster Bowling League

Bowling games on the Wii has become a very crowded field. So companies have to do something to stand out, get a bowling league endorsement, or try something wacky. AMBL Alien Monster Bowling League tries something wacky. Light and darkness battle in this bowling game. The dark queen has created a ship that goes to other planets to suck the life force from the entire planet. The inhabitants of the planet (like earth) get to compete in a bowling game to save their planet. Special powers like ray guns are included so the players can easily get a strike.

The front cover of AMBL Alien Monster Bowling League shocked the WMG. There is a certain repulsive nature to the graphics in this game. Female characters are showing a lot of their chests. The monsters look repugnant. Then we have some animations like this one girl shaking her behind at the camera. The WMG had to take a shower after playing this game because it looked so dirty. The WMG is not sure why violent content was included in a bowling game.

The graphics set this review on edge, and the music kept this reviewer off balance. AMBL Alien Monster Bowling League has a very unique sound that fits the theme of this game. The whole storyline is strange. AMBL Alien Monster Bowling League has an entire mythology with a lot of background to it.

AMBL Alien Monster Bowling League has various difficulty settings, and some interesting locations. Most of the unlockables are characters that will bother many families. Some of the lanes are dark as well. Two players can play AMBL Alien Monster Bowling League at a time. That is if you can handle the images, sounds, and gameplay.

What a wonderful segway. The controls in AMBL Alien Monster Bowling League are lightning fast. There were times the bar was raising, and the WMG thought the bowling ball may hit that bar. These controls are not simple to master though. In fact this reviewer had problems with things like spinning the ball.

Destineer tried to go a very unique direction with AMBL Alien Monster Bowling League. The front cover will turn off most families, and those that get past it will have content issues. AMBL Alien Monster Bowling League may be rated E10+, but Family Friendly Gaming recommends teenagers be the youngest to try this Wii game.
