Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise

Rare and Microsoft Game Studios have brought back the Viva Pinata series, and this time the series goes back to its garden creating roots. Which makes us very happy here at Family Friendly Gaming. Over one hundred pinatas are available to the player in various gardens. The different area themed gardens are a nice improvement over the last Viva Pinata game (not counting Viva

Pinata Party Animals). Enticing the different pinata animals into the players gardens continues to vary, and the cartoon violence of some pinatas breaking apart others continues (editor: once a pinata is broken apart some candy is left).

I really like the friendly look to Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise. The graphics are bright colorful, and fun. The bad guys have a dark look to them, and the garden looks great even at night. The cartoon violence continues to be light, and can be used by the player as discipline against pinatas who try to eat pinatas of the players garden. I enjoy the flexibility of the camera in this Xbox 360 video game.

The tradition of great music is continued in Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise. The special effect sounds continue to be amazing. I did not run into any offensive language, or sounds while playing Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise on the Xbox 360.

With so many different pinatas to play with, teach tricks to, and multiplayer modes this game can easily last for many months. The co-op play across Xbox Live is one of the more attract features of this game. If you are concerned with the other players Microsoft made sure to include modes where the other players can only see, and have no effect on the garden. This is a lesson Nintendo should learn in the Animal Crossing franchise. I feel this is the kind of Xbox 360 video game that is worth your hard earned money.

The controls have been tweaked slightly in Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise, and they are a slight improvement. The different gardens for the different regions is a pure masterpiece, and an excellent improvement to the original Viva Pinata video game. I had a lot of fun playing this Xbox 360 video game, and will continue to do so for many months.

Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise is a wonderful sequel that we have asked for at Family Friendly Gaming. We hope this franchise continues to do well. The lessons in this Xbox 360 video game continue to be about taking care of the garden, and improving the world around us. The themes seem a lot lighter in this game than the original, which is fine in my book.
