TinkerBell

Disney Fairies TinkerBell is a fun little girls game based on well err umm the Disney Fairy TinkerBell. There are plenty of other fairies in this Nintendo DS hand held video game as well. Disney Fairies TinkerBell is split into two parts. The first is helping others by running errands for them. The second part of this game is to play mini games. In some ways Disney Fairies TinkerBell is like a role playing game. I would go and see this fairy and they would send me on a short quest (like repairing, or finding an item for them). Upon returning from my quest they would give me the item I needed. It took quite an imagination to come up with the content in Disney Fairies TinkerBell since the fairies are the ones who change God's Creation from season to season.

Disney Fairies TinkerBell contains a lot of bright and colorful images. I loved all the flowers, and special effect visuals that are within this game. I do have two minor quibbles with Disney Fairies TinkerBell though. Some of the graphics are really tiny. I understand they are small fantasy creatures, but still. The other issue is the arrows to get off a screen. I would have trouble getting off a screen if my character stops on the arrow. So I had to move away and then I could select the arrow.

The whole pixie dust sounds work well with the theme of this game. Disney Fairies TinkerBell is based on fairies that have magical powers. If that content bothers you then please be aware it is included. The music is pleasant as well.

DGamer is becoming a big part of a lot of games from Disney Interactive Studios, and Disney Fairies TinkerBell contains content for it as well. The length of the story mode is around average, and there are tons of different outfits to unlock in this DS game. If you are into fairies then you will most likely find this game worth a purchase.

Some screens allow the touch screen, and buttons whereas others only allow the touch screen. This was a little confusing at first. Flying around the small levels is pretty neat, and many of the mini games are fun to play.

Disney Fairies TinkerBell is a interesting mix of game play styles based on a lesser Disney franchise. I loved the whole helping people aspect of this Nintendo DS video game, and was less thrilled about the whole changing seasons parts.
