The Naked Brothers Band The Video Game The Naked Brothers Band The Video Game

When I read the name of this Wii, and PS2 video game I did a triple take. I was shocked to find out there is a real television show named The Naked Brothers Band. I had never heard of it before, but according to my research it started out with high ratings on Nickelodeon a few years back. These kids want to be rock stars, as if that is something to aspire towards. The game comes with a microphone so players can practice their singing skills (ala Heavenly Harmony). Real songs from the television show are included in The Naked Brothers Band The Video Game.

I have to admit I was a little disappointed with the animations in this home console music game. If you have ever had the displeasure of being at a rock concert you know what kind of bright lights here and there up against a dark background to expect. Some of the female characters could use an education in appropriate dressing in public.

The Naked Brothers Band The Video Game has enough songs to keep most players busy. If you are familar with pop/rock songs then you know what kind of lyrics to expect. Most of them are thankfully pretty tame, but a lot of that has to do with how far in the gutter the rock industry has gone. The ability to play different musical instruments for songs is a nice feature that segways into our next section.

The Naked Brothers Band The Video Game includes a decent amount of replay value. The twenty five songs (most of which are unlockable), along with different instruments to play make this Wii/PS2 game one of interest. If you are into the television show then you will completely get into The Naked Brothers Band The Video Game, and it will be worth your money.

The controls are pretty good in The Naked Brothers Band The Video Game. The Wii version controls a little bit better in my book. I have to question the microphone grading at times. I would not sing the lyrics, and say something drastically different and get a great. Other times I sang the song exactly like the game, and get less than great scores.

It is really cool to see more games like Heavenly Harmony on the video game market. The name of this one will either turn people off or make them interested in playing it. I certainly like the concept of getting to play all the different instruments.
