The Naked Brothers Band The Video Game

I have a confession to make ya'll - I had negative thoughts about The Naked Brothers Band The Video Game. That is until I played it. It takes a big man to admit when he is wrong, and I was wrong. This Nintendo DS game coming out of THQ is a blast to play. This band goes on a tour across America playing their songs. I was pleasantly surprised by the music and found it to good. Not as good as say the Newsboys, but still catchy. So if you like the television show, or like music games you must read this review.

The Naked Brothers Band The Video Game has a grainy look to the graphics, and the 3D images could use some work. The bright lights of the stage are represented nicely in this DS game. Almost every single outfit is appropriate, and I did not find any offensive gyrations from the band members while they were playing. The player gets to play all the different members, and this really made me feel closer to the band. Being able to save videos from a performance is a nice touch.

The Naked Brothers Band The Video Game has some very catchy tunes to it that can stuck in your head. I found myself reciting different songs hours after playing this DS game.  The songs are tame secular rock style with okay lyrics. If you are concerned please do a little research into their lyrics/songs.

The Naked Brothers Band The Video Game has simple enough game play that has three difficulty settings. Beating all three levels for every song, and arena can take some time. On top of that there are different modes, including the ability to play with others. I personally appreciate games that let me have fun with friends, and family.

The touch screen controls found within The Naked Brothers Band The Video Game work gracefully. Each different instrument plays differently, and retains the players attention. The one knock I have is the game play can get pretty repetitive. Some different twists to what the player has to do are included as one progresses. I had a high degree of entertainment from The Naked Brothers Band The Video Game on the Nintendo DS.

Attention to detail, and concentration are the main lessons in The Naked Brothers Band The Video Game. The desire to be a rock star is also thrust upon the gamer. Personally I am content with my life and would not want to be a rock star. Plus the scrutiny of the media on anyone not a liberal is pretty harsh. Sequels to this one would be welcome here.
