Super Rub a Dub

There are video games that upon a shallow inspection they seem little more than just a tech demo. Thankfully Family Friendly Gaming does deeper analysis, and it will benefit you the reader. Super Rub a Dub on the Playstation 3 is an excellent, fun, and generally safe video game for the entire family.

Players get a rubber duckie (editor: how cool is that?) used to go collect the little rubber duckies. From there the player takes the little ones to the drain and they exit the level. This may fit under the puzzle genre, but it is a load of fun for those not into puzzle games. The control scheme is one button to jump, and then using the sixaxis controller to rotate the level around.

Gravity is taken into effect for the player, freed little ones, and the enemies. Yes there are enemies, but the wise player avoids them. The music is bubbling all over the place (sorry for the pun). There are plenty of levels to be found in this bargain priced downloadable video game. Super Rub a Dub is exactly the kind of video game Sony needs to salvage their poor video game image.

I let my son try this game, and he absolutely loved it. Even children find this game to be a lot of fun. I really enjoy finding games like this one, and letting all ya’ll know about it. If you are one of the few gamers who has a Playstation 3, then you absolutely must check this game out. There is a free download to try it - so no excuses.
