Sea Monsters A Prehistoric Adventure Sea Monsters A Prehistoric Adventure

Sea Monsters A Prehistoric Adventure is not much of a video game. It is however a fairly decent underwater exploration of prehistoric creatures. Players get to swim around as different dinosaurs, eat fish, attack other creatures, and find items that unlock content. The animal on animal violence is not as controversial to the WMG as the millions of years this game ‘educates’ players to. The WMG has studied the issue enough to see there are plenty of major problems with the theory the earth is that old. Hopefully those reading this review have also been similarly educated to have an open mind (editor: and not swallow whatever they are fed mentally).

The animals animate pretty good in Sea Monsters A Prehistoric Adventure. The graphics seem a little small, especially when dealing with Sea Monsters. The areas are pretty sparsely populated, and it looked more like an aquarium than the ocean. There is blood, and the violence issue has already been addressed. There is diversity in the creatures, just not a lot in the background images.

The WMG really likes the sounds in Sea Monsters A Prehistoric Adventure. This PS2, and Wii video game start out very majestic, and engaging. The music that plays while swimming is also excellent. The whole ‘millions of years’ myth is perpetuated in this game.

Sea Monsters A Prehistoric Adventure has some replay value if you enjoy swimming around the ocean, and unlocking different Sea Monsters. There are a fair amount of unlockable creatures, and other content in this video game. If you are into prehistoric animals then this bargain bin priced game may be a purchase in your future.

It took the WMG a wee bit to understand the controls in Sea Monsters A Prehistoric Adventure. DSI Games did include with pop up boxes on the screen with instructions but even with those controls can be touchy. The WMG did have some fun playing Sea Monsters A Prehistoric Adventure. A speed booster for the creatures would be a nice upgrade in this reviewers opinion.

Sea Monsters A Prehistoric Adventure is an interesting game where the player gets to swim around as a Sea Monster. There are interesting fossils, and other information in this home console video game. Sea Monsters A Prehistoric Adventure deserves a sequel. Sequels should clean up the whole millions of years myth.
