Rubiks World

The Game Factory has a winner on its hands with Rubik's World on the Wii. This game is the most intelligent step for the Rubik's Cube to take. There are a lot of family friendly video games on the Wii, and many of them are really good. Rubik's World rotates itself right into the middle of them, and deserves major attention. The Game Factory included eight fun, safe, and fantastic puzzle games themed around the Rubik's Cube. Things like guiding blocks to safety, or knocking blocks off to score points. One of my favorites were showing cubies what something like a tree looks like. The game then put my image in the main screen background graphics. The music composer was another one that has resonated well here at Family Friendly Gaming.

I was first a little disappointed with the graphics in Rubik's World. There is not a lot of color, except for the cubies. The more I played this game, the more vibrant and alive it became. Rubik's World gives the player a near blank slate and expects us to populate it. I like that concept. I found nothing visually offensive in this Wii game.

Rubik's World has awesome music. I liked the music in this game more than music in many of the music based games. That speaks volumes for the little ditty that plays in Rubik's World. The composing game translates into personalized sounds so that is another plus to this Wii game. The entire cubies background story is not only cool, but it adds even more to this fantastic game.

Hundreds of challenging levels are included in Rubik's World. This is a game that can be played by all family members for months. Up to four players can play Rubik's World so families can spend time together trying to solve the plethora of puzzles. I feel that Rubik's World is worth your hard earned dollars.

The Wii Remote, and Nunchuk controls work masterfully in this Wii game. Many of the puzzles exhibit an intelligent design wise beyond the developers years. Unlimited replays are allowed, and plenty of instructions when a game is first played. I had a plateful of fun playing Rubik's World on the Wii.

Rubik's World is one of those games that I enjoy playing, writing about, and publishing information on. It is such a joy to play a game that is safe for the entire family, fun, and really fresh. My hat goes off to The Game Factory for releasing Rubik's World. I hope to see many more games in this franchise in the coming years.
