Pipe Mania

Empire Interactive is impressing the Working Man Gamer with releases like Pipe Mania on the Nintendo DS. The productive value found within Pipe Mania is top notch. The fun storyline is an excellent upgrade to the franchise. Players get to pick a boy or girl as the main character to run all the plumbing in six different worlds. Before you freak out that you will walk right through this game, there are over two hundred and fifty levels in multiple game play modes.

Pipe Mania on the DS looks great. The artwork associated with the storyline is way better than the WMG expected. The different pipes look good, and the liquids that flow through stick out enough for everyone to tell the difference between a pipe used, and not currently being used. The female character is perky, but not to the level of enticement to lust. There are a few weird characters in this game that are over specific worlds.

Sounds are something that the WMG finds extremely important. Pipe Mania has good sounds, and they fit the theme of this game nicely. The special effect sounds fit this game perfectly as well. The WMG did not find any offensive sounds while playing Pipe Mania on the Nintendo DS. Listening to the fluids flow through the pipes is actually really neat.

There are so many video games on the market that the WMG rarely goes back and replays a game after beating it. Pipe Mania is one of those rare games that include so many modes, areas, and strategic game play that the WMG will be playing it for months to come. If you are looking for a safe, fun game for the family - look no further than Pipe Mania.

The strategy involved with getting as many points as possible while the timer is running is an instant classic in Pipe Mania. The pipes come in a certain order, and the obstacles make it very interesting indeed. The entire storyline is awesome, and made Pipe Mania even more fun than the original puzzle action. The touch screen controls are the best way in this reviewer's opinion to play Pipe Mania.

Empire Interactive has proven with Pipe Mania that a fun video game can be made without a lot of offensive content. Pipe Mania teaches concentration, planning, and the course of current. Those interested in plumbing or electrical work should use this game as a primer. Pipe Mania is the kind of a game that needs sequels.
