Paws Claws Pet Vet Australian Adventures

Just when I thought the Paws & Claws series had nowhere to go, Valusoft releases Paws & Claws Pet Vet Australian Adventures. Getting to go to the outback, and treat creatures that defy evolution in Australia was a really neat treat for me. Kangaroos, Wombats, Koala’s, Dingo’s, and many more can be considered exotic to those of us in the United States of America. This Personal Computer (PC) video game lets the player take control of their very own animal clinic. Anyone with a heart wants to help animals that are suffering. I would always help a person in pain first, this game does not bring forth that moral dilemma (thankfully). Paws & Claws Pet Vet Australian Adventures really opens the door for regionalized Pet Vet video games. I personally would love to see one based in the Bible Belt where the super majority of Christians can have their regionalized belief set included.

The visual acuity of Paws & Claws Pet Vet Australian Adventures is okay. This video game has some nice models of the different animals. With that said as long as you have 64 MB VRAM, and DirectX 9.0 compatible video card you will be fine. There are plenty of Outback colors, environments, and animals found within this PC video game. I did not fall into any offensive graphics in Paws & Claws Pet Vet Australian Adventures.

The music found within Paws & Claws Pet Vet Australian Adventures is okay, and brought a smile to my face from time to time. The instructions the game gives helps new players make it through the different stages of the procedures. I was not attacked with any offensive language while playing this Personal Computer video game.

If you like helping animals, then Paws & Claws Pet Vet Australian Adventures will retain quite a bit of replay value. There are a wide array of animals, problems, and things to purchase in this game. After awhile many of the procedures do start to feel repetitive, but only the most hardcore will run into that. If your computer can handle it, this is a good game for girls. Lord knows too many developers ignore the fairer sex.

There are no complaints in the game play section of Paws & Claws Pet Vet Australian Adventures that I can think of. The controls are pretty standard, simple, and intuitive. There is a definite intelligent design to the control scheme in this game. I found Paws & Claws Pet Vet Australian Adventures to be fun to play. Valusoft has done a good job of targeting the female side of the family with this PC video game.

Paws & Claws Pet Vet Australian Adventures proves that video games can be fun, clean, and teach the player productive lessons. Girls may be the target audience, but I found boys like to see the different animals as well. The learning is about the animals and how to help them feel better when they are sick. A great sequel.
