Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution 2
SCORE: 66
Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 is a fighting game on the amazing popular Nintendo Wii video game console. The WMG has become the Naruto expert here at Family Friendly Gaming after playing so many Naruto themed games, and watching the television show a few times. This is an Eastern themed anime (aka cartoon) based on ninjas with all kinds of mystical powers. Many of these powers are based on elements, or spiritual aspects. There are good ninjas, and bad ninjas that are always fighting to either take over the world, or save it. The WMG can see similarities between Naruto and the Dragon Ball series.
Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 has a neat, and clean graphical look in terms of art. There are a lot of bright colors all over, especially in the mystical special attacks. The violence ranges from punching/kicking to the previously mentioned spiritual special attacks. There are also some female characters that dress in a provokative manner. This Wii game also includes video clips that look like they are from the show to this reviewer.
Anyone used to the television show will appreciate the sounds, and voice acting in Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution 2. Bear in mind this is a ‘T’ rated video game so there is some language and content that is not appropriate for those under the age of fifteen. The music is eastern flavored.
Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 includes a lot of unlockable content. Tomy included art, video, characters, etc. The standard fare of what is expected in a current generation fighting game is included in this Wii game. Four players can play Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 together for the social butterflies.
The WMG was unhappy with the controls at first. Then in frustration the WMG started waving the Wii remote and found that would launch attacks. Reading the instructions can be important, and some day the WMG will actually learn that lesson. There are plenty of different control schemes included for those that like to play different ways. The violence does get old, thankfully it is over quickly.
Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 on the Wii carries the theme of
helping those being attacked by evil. Players have to use all kinds of
mystical attacks to do this. Different characters in this game have bad
attitudes, or selfish motives.
