Nancy Drew The Phantom of Venice

I can barely believe that this is the eighteenth Nancy Drew video game from Her Interactive. Nancy Drew The Phantom of Venice is a classic Nancy Drew mystery story. Her Interactive also included a wardrobe so Nancy can change what she is wearing. Going under cover has never been more fun. Mystery fans can celebrate about another brain teaser PC video game. Fans of the books will find this Windows video game to be a lot like an interactive book. The twists and turns I ran into while playing Nancy Drew The Phantom of Venice kept me engaged the entire time.

The photo realistic screens found while playing Nancy Drew The Phantom of Venice are very cool. I enjoyed watching the ripple effects of the water. There is something about Venice that anyone with a heart can feel. The different characters animate decently. The only offensive graphics I can think of are some of the costumes at Carnevale. I was personally not bothered by those costumes. Certain parts of the game can be dark, as that is part of the setting.

Nancy Drew The Phantom of Venice shines in the audio department. The voice acting is excellent, and the music is themed perfectly. I like the different vocal inflections that can help identify a criminal versus a normal citizen. Even the best vocal detectives will be working hard while playing Nancy Drew The Phantom of Venice on the Personal Computer.

Nancy Drew The Phantom of Venice takes a long time to solve. If you want your money to last on a video game then this is one to look into. There are a few extras included, and those that can beat the game are given quite a few ending rewards. Only one player can play Nancy Drew The Phantom of Venice at a time, so it may be a great time to work on that sharing lesson with your children.

Certain rooms will allow the player to rotate around without hitting a button. This can confuse some people at first, but once you got it - well it becomes a nice shortcut to improve the game play. If you ever get stuck anywhere in the game, there are hints online, and a game guide that can be purchased. The exploration theme of Nancy Drew The Phantom of Venice made this PC video game a lot of fun for me. I also liked the mystery. The level design of this video game displays a definite intelligent design.

I really like having a positive role model for teenage girls. There are so many bad ones in the culture in this age, it is nice that Nancy Drew stays true to her traditional roots. I would like to see sequels to Nancy Drew The Phantom of Venice, especially if there are some more mysteries in different countries.
