Kororinpa Marble Mania

Kororinpa is probably the one of the most fun games I have played this year ( in the year of our Lord 2007, to be exact). This is a second look, so I’ll be brief about things.

The point of the game is to get the marble from one end of the course to the other. It’s a good game for players to learn a sense of direction with. It also works flawlessly with the Wii Remote. Careful programming is apparent. Hudson did an excellent job.

The graphics are nice. Very detailed and smooth, Hudson really took some time with this. Lighting effects and all bring life to this game. It’s very eye pleasing. No offensive images were shown. The music is what had me. I absolutely loved the music in this game. No music featured was annoying. There were no offensive sounds made.

Kororinpa is worth your hard earned money. There are unlockable courses, as well as unlockable marbles. The marbles make cute noises (depending on which one you use). Players of all ages can get into the fun. There is also a 2-Player VS. mode (or players can help, too). This is going to be a sleeper hit, sadly. I wish more publicity would shine on the gem, because it’s not easy to make it in to the news unlike the more violent games.

Ah, well. At any rate, I say this game certainly deserves the Family Friendly Gaming seal of approval.
