Kidz Sports Crazy Golf

Kidz Sports Crazy Golf does a lot of things right, and needs an upgrade in a couple of other spots. This miniature golf based video game for the Nintendo Wii from Bold Games includes NuYu’s. A NuYu is a Mii kind of avatar with a few better choices than Nintendo came up with. Mii inclusion would have made more sense to this reviewer, however NuYu is a nice little part of this Nintendo Wii video game. The main problem I have with this video game is going to come in the game play section - so look for it.

The graphics in Kidz Sports Crazy Golf are very bright and colorful. I love the different locations, and scenery. A few of the levels are dark, but also lit nicely. The characters all dress appropriately, and there are no enticement to lust issues. The artistic style of the characters looks a lot like the Hot Shots Golf series, however Bold Games kept the visuals safe for the entire family. There are no violence issues in Kidz Sports Crazy Golf either. I did not run into any offensive images while I played this Nintendo Wii home console video game.

Kidz Sports Crazy Golf has average sounds that don’t go far either direction. The celebration sounds the characters make are nice, and the failure sounds are a little discouraging. I did not find any offensive language while playing Kidz Sports Crazy Golf for the Wii.

If you have no problem with the game play issues in the next paragraph then you will find a lot of replay value to Kidz Sports Crazy Golf. Up to four players can play this Wii game at once, and there are 72 holes that can be played. I have played on a lot of similar holes in real life so they are pretty realistic. This is a bargain priced game that is worth it for a gamer who does not like everything handed to them.

You might be wondering what I meant about having everything handed to you. There is no guide to where the ball is going to go in Kidz Sports Crazy Golf. The default is not always accurate. I would have to move the player around to get the right line up with the hole. Without a guide this was even more difficult. So it becomes a guessing game. I did find this is a fun little game to play that has a great atmosphere.

Kidz Sports Crazy Golf is safe for the whole family, although some family members may become impatient with the guessing game aspect of hitting the ball. Concentration, and angles are the main lessons in this Wii game. I think a sequel to Kidz Sports Crazy Golf could be great if a dotted line guide is included. Lining up things would make this a much better game.
