It is always interesting to look back at history and see how far we have come. I also pay attention to how game developers are doing, especially the independent ones. Cloud 9 Games has been doing well since Family Friendly Gaming reviewed the first Heavenly Harmony Karaoke. Their games are in Family Christian book stores, and will be in all the major stores this summer (in the year of our Lord 2008). Those retailers must be reading Family Friendly Gaming *wink*.
The graphics looks very similar in the expansion pack to the original release to me. There are plenty of bright colors used, and I noticed some upgrades on the song selection screen. As Frank’s review mentions the words to the songs are included as well as the musical notes. I must admit ignorance in regards to reading music. I can read programming languages so don’t feel bad for me. I really like how appropriately all the characters dress in this game, and the professional manner they approach singing.
Heavenly Harmony Karaoke Expansion Pack 2 Christian Rock is all about the music. The music in this Personal Computer video game is among some of the best rock on the planet. Groups like Sanctus Real, Jeremy Camp, Audio Adrenaline, and Kutless highlight this expansion pack lending a lot of musical star power.
The thirty amazing Christian Rock songs give a great amount of replay value for the dollars spent. If you have the original Heavenly Harmony Karaoke, and enjoy Christian Rock then this PC video game is a must purchase for your family.
I let Frank review the first Heavenly Harmony because he knows a lot more about music than I do. The microphone controls work great. The only complaint I have is that I times I thought I hit the note, but the game disagreed with me. I would try harder the next time, and almost always see improvements.

sounds, and fun interactive game play. I would love to see a game like
this on the home consoles. Sequels are welcome and expected, some
Newsboys perhaps.
