Eagle Eye Golf

Can someone please explain to the WMG why a golf game has sexual content, and language issues inside of it. This is a golf game people. Kids games should not be teaching swearing, smoking, and lusting as acceptable behavior. A golf game that goes over an ‘E’ for Everyone rating should be warning enough that there is something seriously wrong said game. Remember the ESRB usually misses a lot of the bad content, and seems to always be lenient.

Eagle Eye Golf starts on the wrong foot with the graphical department. The graphics are bland, in fact good luck watching the ball bounce on the grass - because the WMG never could see it. It is also nearly impossible to tell the rough from the green, since both of them are such similar shades of green. There are female characters dressed in a way to entice men into enslavement of lust. The game also includes certain racial stereotypes that will offend those that worship political correctness.

Things do not improve for Eagle Eye Golf in the sound department. In fact they get worse. Yes there are language issues in this game, and that is a real shame. The music is actually pleasant, although elevator music is an interesting compliment to a golf game. Some of the sound bytes are re-used over and over again to the point of being annoying.

There are a decent number of modes, and unlockables. If you figure out how to unlock some stuff please let the WMG know. Create your own golf course, and create a player are present if a little on the light side. This game is bargain priced, but still not worth your hard earned dollars.

My apologies to Aksys Games, because the controls are just atrocious. The right analog stick is pulled back, and then thrust forward in order to hit the ball. Good luck trying to hit the ball straight. Putting is the most confusion aspect of this game. The WMG never could understand slope, depth, and height. Too often the ball would go half the distance, or rim around and not make it in. The designs of the golf courses are very intelligent though.

Things like smoking, language, and enticement to lust really have no place in a golf game. Eagle Eye Golf has plenty of problems with it, but those three only accentuate this is a game to pass on. This game only irritated, and frustrated the WMG. There are much safer golf game for the entire family, and they can be found for around the same price.
