Disney Th!nk It is a great family trivia game on the Wii. Up to four family members can show off their knowledge of different Disney franchises. The Genie from the Aladdin movies hosts the game show, and there are some marque Disney characters playable (like Mickey, Goofy, Donald, etc.). Disney Interactive Studios included quite a few different kinds of rounds in this trivia game that has made it a lot of fun. They also made this Wii video game accessible for all ages of the family (editor: that are of video game playing age). The deep history of the Disney movies is included in this game in over five thousand questions.
Fans of Disney will find a lot to like in the images found in Disney Th!nk It. From Donald Ducks temper tantrums to the Genie's Elvis impersonations there are plenty there are lot of classic animations. Most of the rounds include a question with the possible answers being found in pictures. This opens up the game for younger gamers who do not know how to read yet.
Disney has a rich history that I was expecting in Disney Th!nk It, what I was not expecting was the entertaining humor. The Genie had all ages of our family laughing (usually at different times). When each character is introduced the Genie describes their good, and bad attributes, which warrants an unhappy response from the characters. This host is also really nice to players when they get questions wrong, which is something I enjoy. No need to kick us when we are down.
Disney Th!nk It has replay value from now until Judgement Day. Disney Interactive Studios included a great level of unlockable content for the players to customize their favorite playable Disney characters. You can play Disney Th!nk It by yourself if you so choose, but it is a lot more fun with two or more people. In fact in our family we help out the younger members to keep the games interesting.
Disney Th!nk It controls properly. Some rounds allow for the Wii Remote, while others use the D-pad. I found the D-pad works wonders in this game, and shows off the intelligent design. The verbal, written, and visual aspects of answering questions is top notch in my book. I had a lot of fun playing Disney Th!nk It, and so did everyone else in my family. Winners are rewarded for their hard work.
I found some great cognitive learning in Disney Th!nk It for the Wii.
This is another great one for the Wii, especially for families. I hope
we see more games like Disney Th!nk It in the near future.
