DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2 is one of the latest exercise video games to appear on the Nintendo Wii. Players get to Bust a Move (literally) in this Wii title that lets players work it out (again literally). The music videos that are shown during certain songs is an interesting touch. DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2 is a sequel that many families will be interested in. The WMG sees a few problems in this Nintendo Wii title. Those two problems are lyrical content, and enticement to lust. This is no Dance Praise when it comes to content, but game play is better in this Konami title.

DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2 on the Wii has a soft graphical look to it. This video game is alive with color, and reminded the WMG of dance clubs. There is a dark side to DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2 as well. Many of the female characters are dressed in a provocative manner. There are also gyration animations that look like something out of a rap video. The Young MC video is also present, and that was extremely racy back in the day. Sadly the musical industry keeps shoving even worse content down the general population.

The WMG found some entertaining little songs in DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2. With that said there are not a lot of songs in this Wii video game that the WMG listens to on a Saturday night. There is also no fever this game will cause. A lot of these songs dive right into the sexual nature on the selfish side of the issue. DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2 does seem to have tamer songs than many other versions on other systems.

Getting exercise while gaming never stops being fun. DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2 is an excellent video game in terms of exercise. There are plenty of songs, characters, and modes to keep most gamers busy for months on end. There are however plenty of good exercise video games on the Wii, and honestly many of them are better in terms of content. If you are into dancing, have a Nintendo Wii, and like many of the songs in this video game then DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2 will be worth your hard earned dollars.

Konami made sure there are some nice little twists in the game play of DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2 on the Wii. The triple step is a nice development exhibiting some drastic intelligent design. The layout of the controls continues to work well for this franchise. The WMG found DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2 to be a lot of fun, even with the negative drawbacks.

DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2 teaches coordination, rhythm, balance, and concentration. Those are all wonderful lessons. The enticement to lust, women being sexual objects only, and selfishness are also taught. DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2 earns its E10+ rating from the ESRB at a minimum. The WMG really wishes this franchise would drop the negative content, and make this franchise much more family friendly. That is the hope and prayer of this reviewer.
