Cooking Mama 2 Dinner with Friends is only the second game in the entire history of Family Friendly Gaming to receive a perfect 100 final score. There is a good reason for that, and once you play this Nintendo DS video game I am sure you will agree. Cooking Mama 2 Dinner with Friends takes everything that was good about the first game, and improves upon it. Mama is back cooking, and this time she has some friends to make this feel like Thanksgiving, or Christmas in a large family in the south. Mini games are back, and this time there are even more to perform while on the way to making a culinary masterpiece. Completed dishes can now be saved to be shared with others.
The very first thing I noticed about Cooking Mama 2 Dinner with Friends was the special effects in the look of this game. There are plenty of sparkles that really add a new dimension to this game. The completed dishes look photo realistic in a way that makes me proud of the mini game accomplishments. Majesco Entertainment made sure a lot of wonderful colors are found throughout this DS game.
The quirky audio is back which adds some real character to Cooking Mama 2 Dinner with Friends. The game continues to be positive, and uplifting even when the player makes a mistake. This goes an extremely long way with me. I just adore the cheerful music that comes out of my Nintendo DS while playing it.
Cooking Mama 2 Dinner with Friends has countless hours of replay allowed with so many wonderful recipes to create. The mini games never get old, and all of the unlockables can keep you coming back for months. If you fit into the target audience then this game is worth your money.
The touch screen controls are continued in a wonderful way. The screen layouts work masterfully. The actions in the mini games feel even more realistic to this meal maker. Every aspect of the game play exhibits an intelligent design. I am still having a blast playing Cooking Mama 2 Dinner with Friends, and know you will too.
I asked for a sequel to
Cooking Mama, and Majesco Entertainment improved it beyond my wildest
imagination. Cooking Mama 2 Dinner with Friends is safe for the entire
family, and shows women in a very positive light. The only improvement
this series needs right now is Wi-Fi. Yes network play is included, but
Wi-Fi would be great. Great game for all ages.
