Interactive Parables

Graceworks Interactive recently stunned the gaming community with their first release - The Interactive Parables. This game is set for those in the fifth grade up to all ages of adults. Interactive Parables is done in the first person in full 3D. Have no fears though this is not a first person shooter, in fact there is no violence witnessed in this game whatsoever. Thankfully this game is good, clean, wholesome, family friendly fun. Walk, run, jump, and fly through twenty different levels answering questions on twenty four different parables from Jesus Christ. Item collection is also represented. In order to progress large gold stars must be collected by correctly answering questions concerning the parable being played. Missing questions will take away some of the player's life. Lose too much life, fall down a pit, or get squashed by a giant shoe, and it is game over.

The graphics are good, but nothing ground breaking. Many of the same pictures are on the walls throughout different levels. This gave some levels a museum feel. That feel works well with this game. Graphics is the only area lacking a little bit. The sounds are simply spectacular. The music in the levels are pleasant, and the music for beating a level is highly appropriate. The sound effects are great, especially when you get under one of the giant shoes. The sound effect is so well done that humor is the player's response instead of the usual anger at dying.

Since Interactive Parables has all the parables from Jesus Christ from the Holy Bible, there is an endless amount of replay. The gameplay is spot on perfect for an educational entertaining game. There are also a surprising amount of different gameplay mechanics, and puzzles waiting to challenge the player. This game is so deep, and has so much in it that there are more than enough extras in it. Easily months can be spent playing this game, and it stays fresh.

It goes without saying that this game is an example of flawless execution of the family friendly factor. The lessons in this game are ones that are good, uplifting, and edifying for the player. There is nothing in this game to embarrass or offend you.

Interactive Parables is exactly what a video game should be. It is deep fun that not only challenges, but also educates and
enriches at the same time. Kudos to Graceworks Interactive, we are looking forward to more good games from them in the future. We highly recommend this game.
