Monster House
Monster House on the Playstation 2, and Gamecube is a video game based on the PG rated movie of the same name. Three children try and destroy a haunted house that has been eating people in the neighborhood. They want to do this before Halloween. First thing to note is the environment of this game is dark, and brooding. The sound department work with the images to present an uneasy experience. This is not to the level of Resident Evil video games, but it is also not as cartoonish as Luigi's Mansion. The children use water guns to fight off the demonic chairs, television sets, and other such evils that try and get them. This is a completely different experience than the GBA version. A full review is coming in the wonderful Family Friendly Gaming #7. We can tell you right now, that this is a game for those mature enough to handle such themes.
