Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing
I realized a little too late that Family Friendly Gaming did not receive a reviewable copy of Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing from Sega. This is sadly part of the video game industry. PR reps come and go. The cool ones let you know they are leaving, and who their replacement is. PR firms are used for awhile, and then it is brought back in house, or a new PR firm is used. We find ourselves scrambling to find the new contact more often than I would like. The video game industry is very fluid. Over the years I have adapted to this way of doing business. I was extremely excited about Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing because I had played it at an E3 in Los Angeles, California. I saw a lot of promise in this game. So I spent the money to get a home console version of this game. Thus far Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing has been everything I expect it to be and a whole lot more. This game has the possibility of dethroning Mario Kart. Sega has put so many fantastic characters in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. Many of their franchises are well represented in this game as well. The dark side of this game is zombies, and some mild enticement to lust. There will more on that in my full review. I hope and pray to be able to get through this game for the next issue, but that all depends on what products come in that need to be reviewed.
