Glory of Heracles
I was so interested in The Glory of Heracles that I went out and bought the game. I found myself in for a major shock when I turned on this Nintendo DS hand held video game. The Glory of Heracles starts out with a nice anime looking movie scene. I was pumped to have a fantastic video game experience. Then I saw the graphics. The details are so bad that I can point to Gameboy Advance games that look better. Nintendo put their name on this game too. I did not think they could publish an ugly looking game. But its about the content of the character, the heart you know. The outside does not matter as much as the inside. The Glory of Heracles encourages praying to false idols, there is some enticement to lust, and some real monotonous role playing battles. The Glory of Heracles does include some mini games for when you cast magic. Doing them well makes for a more powerful attack. Characters of Greek Mythology abound in The Glory of Heracles, but that is not enough to save this DS game. I plan on trying to get a review in a future issue of Family Friendly Gaming. The ESRB bestowed an 'E10+' rating on The Glory of Heracles. The descriptors are Alcohol Reference, Animated Blood, Fantasy Violence, Mild Language, and Mild Suggestive Themes. {10/09/2010} - Luke
