Blue Dragon Plus
The Blue Dragon franchise moved from the Xbox 360 to the Nintendo DS. Sure that seems like a strange move, but the DS is the most well known franchise for role playing games at this time. The RPG Master bought Blue Dragon Plus curious to see what this game is like. Many times in life that curiosity has paid off. Blue Dragon Plus is not one of those times. The artwork is fantastic, and fans of Dragon Ball Z will appreciate it. There are graphical issues as at least one female character is busting out. This is a real black eye for this reviewer's favorite genre. Maybe someday role playing games will mature past this. It is the equivalent of keeping women barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. The game play style of Blue Dragon Plus is real time strategy. Which would be okay if the game did not split the player's characters into so many different teams. Lord willing there will be a review of Blue Dragon Plus in an upcoming issue of Family Friendly Gaming. The ESRB graciously bestowed an 'E' for Everyone rating on this game with Crude Humor, and Fantasy Violence as the two descriptors. {12/13/2010} - RPG Master
