The Clique Diss and Make Up
The Clique Diss and Make Up is an interesting Nintendo DS game. Paul told me about it from E3, and when Family Friendly Gaming got offered a preview build of the game I decided to check it out. This is part social climbing, and part mini game. Your character has just transferred and her parents are off. She winds up coming to school where classes are taken. These classes are mini games. Jobs at the mall are as well. This is not the meat of The Clique Diss and Make Up though. Talking to different characters opens up gossip, and sometimes errands. Tell the right people the right gossip, and they become more friendly to you. Wearing the right clothes for a certain clique also can endear you to their selective little group. The goal of The Clique Diss and Make Up is to climb the social ladder. If you loved that aspect of high school, then you will really get into this hand held video game. Expect The Clique Diss and Make Up to arrive in Fall of 2009. I saw nothing malicious in the gossip of the game. A book and DVD on The Clique were also included. The DVD had some bad language issues in what a certain character was referred to as. I hope that content is not included in the final retail version of The Clique Diss and Make Up for the Nintendo DS. {08/01/2009} - Yolanda
