N plus

In all of the hustle and bustle with issue after issue we lost track of N+. This hand held video game appears on the Nintendo DS, and Playstation Portable (PSP). So I recently ran across the PSP version of N+ at the store and decided to see if the oversight was a mistake or not. Players take on the role of a ninja that looks like a stick figure. Traverse some treacherous mini mazes to the exit. Switches have to be turned on, enemies avoid, and pitfalls avoided. Atari made sure the player has a plethora of skills at their disposal. These range from running fast to being able to slide down vertical walls. My personal favorite has to be the wall climb, which is essentially jumping back and forth between walls to get to the top. N+ is part puzzle game, and part action adventure. The blend works beautifully, and the levels are amazingly addictive. Expect a full review to appear in a future issue of the awesome Family Friendly Gaming magazine, and then eventually online as well. {02/19/2009}  - Paul
