Cars Race-O-Rama
If I had to pick a video game at E3 2009 as video game of the show it would probably be Cars Race-O-Rama. The Disney Pixar Cars franchise is huge in terms of being family friendly. The previous THQ Cars games have been a lot of fun, and scored very well here at Family Friendly Gaming. So when I saw Cars Race-O-Rama in THQ's booth - I was all over it. I played the Wii version of the game and have to tell all ya'll that this game does not disappoint. The graphics look even sharper, and the sound bytes are awesome. New paint jobs are available, and there are some new characters as well. Lightning and Chick Hicks (now a playable character) both decide to have their own racing schools. This starts all kinds of competition. Cars Race-O-Rama is slotted for Fall 2009 release on the Wii, Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Nintendo DS, and Playstation Portable.
