Pet Pals Animal Doctor
I am beginning to think that Majesco Entertainment has a hit on their hands with Pet Pals Animal Doctor. This Nintendo DS video game due to be out in spring of the year of our Lord 2008 lets the player be a veterinarian. All kinds of different animals need to be treated with real life problems. There is a hint mode if the diagnosis gets too difficult. The animals all look pretty realistic, and the process to solve the poor critters problem is always logical. I did find the diagnosis process is rather linear, and the game teaches the player to be thorough. There were times I was pretty sure of the diagnosis but had to go through certain other checks to cover all the bases (so to speak). One of the coolest features is asking the owner specific questions related to their animals problem. There were times though I did not understand why the game thought certain questions were irrelevant. They seemed relevant to me, but I have never treated an animal so it was an enjoyable learning experience. {01/07/2008} - Paul
