Fifa Street 2

Fifa Street 2

Most sports gamers have a love or a hate of Electronic Arts. Their lack of real progression in sports games has been disappointing over recent years. That lethargy can be found in the past as well. Fifa Street 2 is on the PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube but not worth much of a mention. A reader had made a request for this game to be reviewed so I got it out of the Family Friendly Gaming library and started to play it. The four on four soccer action (counting the goalie) is played on what looks like basketball courts, and keys on the player showing off tricks to gain points. The goalies are not very intelligent, but the scores can be kept down with the length of games. Thus far this game has been a serious disappointment for me. The theme of vanity, mixed with the ethnic music and poor soccer action makes this a poor sports game, and an even worse casual type game. A full review will appear in a future issue, for now just avoid Fifa Street 2. {05/11/2008} - Frank
