Custom Robo

Custom Robo

After playing the Nintendo DS version of Custom Robo, I thought it might be interesting to play through the Gamecube version. Sadly I found out that the roots of the DS version were not all good. In fact the enticement to lust issue was extremely higher than I had expected. There is also additional sexual content above that. The ESRB rated this game ‘T’ for Teen with Comic Mischief, and Mild Fantasy Violence being the two descriptors. So they completely missed the sexual content yet again. The music in Custom Robo is pleasant techno based. If you have a problem with techno music then pass on this Gamecube video game. There is a lot of fighting (editor: even more so than the Nintendo DS version). For some reason the fighting is even more boring in the Gamecube version. Nintendo has the player saving in some of the strangest ways, and places. Custom Robo is on the lower part of the priority listing, but I hope to get it reviewed in an upcoming issue of the fabulous Family Friendly Gaming. Retro reviews can be more fun at times than some current games. - {07/05/2008} - Luke
