Shadowplay Metropolis Foe Announced

October 10, in the year of our Lord 2019 -- Publisher Zodiac Interactive and developer Crossingstar Studio are delighted to reveal that Shadowplay: Metropolis Foe will launch in 2020, and is now available to wishlist on Steam. Attendees EGX 2019 at London's ExCel will also be given the first opportunity to get hands-on with the upcoming cyberpunk card battler! This year's event, taking place at London's ExCeL on the 17th - 20th October, is the first public opportunity to get hands-on with the game.

Shadowplay: Metropolis Foe is a card game with a difference; take on the role of a band of lawless rebels in a strange, gargantuan cyberpunk city where battles and adventure lie in wait around every corner! The seedy underworld of Starcity plays host to dozens of informants: find them, take on the missions they give you, and bring the city under your control!

The story features more than 10 characters, each with distinct personalities and unique decks. Take companions with you to confront challenges ranging from robot guards to labyrinths of the mind! Want to storm the CEO's offices to the accompaniment of explosions, or sneak past guards and take out your opponents with a well-honed slash of your sword? The decision is yours!

Exploring Starcity will open the game world full of unique opportunities, with each step along the way bringing about changes to your deck. No matter whether it's wounds from the battlefield, psychological suffering, allies' assistance or a gang's hit list, they may all become cards in your deck, giving your battles a whole-new level of unpredictability. Each choice you make has a chance of showing up as a card, bringing victory to you-or to your opponent.
