MLB 14 The Show Arrives on the PS4
SAN MATEO, Calif., May 6,
in the year of our Lord 2014 - Sony Computer
Entertainment America LLC (SCEA) announced today the debut of
MLB®14 The Show™ on the PlayStation 4 system. Available
exclusively on PlayStation systems, MLB 14 The Show delivers a
feature-packed, meticulously authentic, visually appealing
baseball experience.
The PS4 version of MLB 14 The Show is proof of San Diego
Studio's uncompromising commitment to deliver the features and
next-gen improvements baseball fans deserve.
"Making the jump to PlayStation 4 has enabled our team to build
upon the extensive lineup of game modes and features that fans
of MLB The Show have grown to love," said Chris Cutliff,
director of production at San Diego Studio. "We're excited to
achieve feature parity on the PS4 version of the game with
visual improvements that will make our next-gen debut the most
impressive iteration of the franchise to date."
In addition to the visual leaps evident in the PS4 version of
the game, MLB 14 The Show introduces more than 50 innovations
and new features to the franchise this year including the
ability to carry over saves year after year in subsequent
versions of The Show; Quick Counts, which significantly reduces
the amount of time required to play a full 9-inning game; an
enhanced Road to The Show experience; and Player Lock, which
lets users focus on one player and their particular position,
effectively recreating the Road to the Show experience outside
of that popular mode.

MLB 14 The Show is available today at local retailers and
digital download on the PlayStation® Store for $59.99 for the
PS4 system. MLB 14 The Show is also available for $59.99 on the
PS3™ system and $39.99 for the PS Vita system.
