Warner Bros Interactive had some fantastic games at E3 in the year of our Lord 2010. Family Friendly Gaming is showcasing many of them on this page, with continued coverage in the magazine.

Batman The Brave and the Bold

Play through exciting escapades in a fun and interactive way on Wii and Nintendo DS as the hit animated series comes to life in Batman: The Brave and the Bold the Videogame. Team up in the ultimate co-op adventure and battle as Batman along with his powerful posse including Green Lantern, Robin, Hawkman and Blue Beetle, or call in the help of drop-in heroes such as The Flash and Aquaman to squash enemies. Using Batman’s legendary gadgets, take on the most notorious villains in the DC Universe in the fight for justice. Players will face-off against evil in a variety of locations from crime filled alleys, strange alien planets, mysterious laboratories and beyond. Fight crime, solve puzzles, experience interplanetary travel and more as you go behind the cowl of the Caped Crusader and discover what it’s like to be a superhero in Batman: The Brave and the Bold the Videogame! Expect this game to arrive in September of 2010.

Game Party In Motion

Warner Bros Interactive E3 2010

PARTY ON! The hit Game Party™ series brings a full motion party for players of all ages and abilities exclusively to Kinect for Xbox 360 in the Fall of 2010. Game Party: In Motion features 16 games and several game variations for an immersive and intuitive pick-up-and-play experience for people of all abilities! Game Party: In Motion lets players engage in true-to-life motions, using their whole bodies to mimic the actions and gestures of real-life activities. Players will need to make a throwing motion to hit targets with a football while quickly stepping left and right to avoid getting tackled or rush from table to table serving root beer to thirsty customers. Beyond the game world players can tie-in their Xbox 360 Avatars to engage in the full suite of games for an amazing experience.

Lego Harry Potter

LEGO® Harry Potter™: Years 1-4 combines two of the most beloved franchises to deliver a magical, fun-filled adventure. Based on Harry’s first four books and films - Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire- fans can experience Harry’s first four years at Hogwarts™ School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in a new and exciting way. Players will build the adventure from Privet Drive to the Triwizard Tournament in an interactive journey that takes them through some of the most detailed and expansive environments ever created for a LEGO game. Featuring potion-making, spell-casting, puzzle-solving, and more, players of all ages can relive the adventures like never before with the humor and creative customization that is unique to LEGO videogames. Lego Universe

LEGO Universe brings the LEGO play experience online in the first MMOG – massively-multiplayer online game – created for LEGO fans of all ages. LEGO Universe is a great way for families to play together in a safe online environment, and is designed to foster creativity and social interaction in young children and veteran gamers alike. LEGO Universe represents a collaboration between the LEGO Group and fans, who have been called upon to help shape the game world - from testing and contributing ideas, to building actual game content alongside professional developers. Lego Universe will launch in October 2010.

Scooby Doo! and the Spooky Swamp

Scooby-Doo! and the Spooky Swamp is a new action adventure video game featuring fun, exploration-style mysteries with the characters kids know and love. For the first time, kids can play as any of the Mystery, Inc. characters, including Scooby-Doo, at any time! In Scooby-Doo! and the Spooky Swamp, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Daphne, Velma and Fred are on an all-new adventure to uncover the mystery behind a strange swamp girl and her peculiar cauldron of brew. Kids and their friends can travel beyond the swamp and into other haunted locales such as a snow covered Alpine village and a Southwestern ghost town to uncover more clues and solve the mystery of the strange brew. In the team spirit of Mystery, Inc., players won’t have to face challenges alone. Drop-in, drop-out two-player co-op encourages friends and families to join in the case-cracking fun at any time throughout the game. Players can unlock fun costume pieces as well as collect Scooby Snacks to buy character accessories and clothing. There are also new gadgets and tools to help uncover hidden clues and secret investigations. All new brain-teasing puzzles, enemies, and epic boss battles are sure to keep kids challenged and mystified in this new adventure. Look for this game in September 2010 on the Wii, PS2, and Nintendo DS.

Sesame Street: Cookie's Counting Carnival/Sesame Street: Elmo's A-to-Zoo Adventure

In Sesame Street: Cookie's Counting Carnival, kids join Cookie Monster and Big Bird at a fun-filled carnival, through gameplay steeped in math skills that include number identification, counting, shapes and pattern recognition. Kids journey through the game in the many areas of the carnival such as The Grandstand, Midway, Petting Zoo, Food Court and the Arcade.

In Sesame Street: Elmo's A-to-Zoo Adventure, kids head to the Zoo with Elmo, Zoe and their animal friends, as they explore fun games including letter identification, rhyming, classification, and color and shape identification. Kids can also explore exotic Zoo habitats including the Aquarium, Savanna, Jungle, Wetlands and the Arctic. Expect both of these games to arrive in the Fall of 2010 on the Wii, Nintendo DS, and Personal Computer.

Super Scribblenauts for Nintendo DS expands the innovative elements from the award-winning first title with inventive new features, including an adjectives system and upgraded controls to create an incredibly fresh and entertaining gameplay experience. Created and developed by 5TH Cell, players use the stylus and touch screen along with their imagination to help Maxwell, the game’s hero, solve robust puzzles and challenges in redesigned levels to acquire the “Starite.” In Super Scribblenauts, players now have the ability to write any object that comes to mind and modify it in any way they desire, using adjectives to reach the goal in each level. Adjectives can change the color, size, elements, behaviors and many other aspects of the object they are describing. Multiple adjectives can be combined together to produce incredibly creative objects, such as gentlemanly, flaming, flying zombies and purple, obese, winged elephants allowing the player’s imagination to run wild for an even more inspired and individual experience than ever before! Look for this hand held sequel in October of 2010.
