Unleash Your Inner Samurai With Dairojo Samurai Defenders

 

Barcelona, Spain – December 6th, in the year of our Lord 2010 – Abylight, an independent premier video game publisher and developer, is pleased to announce that Dairojo! Samurai Defenders - its’ new tower defense game developed exclusively for the Nintendo DSiWare™ service is now available from the Nintendo DSi Shop.  Developed by Japanese developer Kawamoto Industrial, Dairojo! Samurai Defenders is an epic defense tower strategy game that spans the Edo period of Japanese history, where elite powerful Shoguns fought one another in the battle for feudal power and glory.

 “DsiWare is the perfect platform for the launch of Dairojo! Samurai Defenders ”, said Nacho Garcia, General Manager at Abylight, “With its strategic, addictive gameplay, multiple game modes, Dairojo! Samurai Defenders is the perfect release for the portable tower defense gamer”.

 Dairojo! Samurai Defenders features four game modes: normal, score attack, random and vs mode. Players select one of six Japanese castles and defend their territory against highly skilled, offensive armies who strike across land, air and through networks of underground tunnels as they launch waves of attacks to capture your castle. By tactically positioning army units that include spears, archers, gunners, generals and cannons to halt the enemy attack before they breach the castle gates and take control.

 Dairojo! Samurai Defenders comes with the ability for two players to compete against one another in multiplayer via local wireless communication featuring DS Download Play.

 Dairojo! Samurai Defenders is rated “E” in North America and will be available for Nintendo DSi™ through the Nintendo DSi Shop priced at 800 Nintendo DSi Points™. To access the Nintendo DSi Shop, players simply connect their Nintendo DSi system to the Internet, then visit the Nintendo DSi Shop from the Nintendo DSi Menu.
