Pokemon Championship Results June 26-27

 

Here are the winners from the 2010 Pokémon National Trading Card and Video Game Championships this past weekend in Indianapolis where over 5,000 Pokémon fans were in attendance at the annual National Trading Card Game and Video Game competition.

11-year-old Wade Stanley from San Diego, CA , became the nationšs top rated Pokémon video game player in the Junior (Under 12) Division, earning a coveted spot in the 2010 Pokémon World Championships in Hawaii later this summer.

Meanwhile, 16-year-old Chicago resident Wesley Morioka emerged as the king of the video game competition in the Senior Division. Morioka and Stanley's winnings included a Wii, Nintendo DSi, a variety of Pokémon prizes, and airfare / accommodations for two to the 2010 Pokémon World Championships in Kona, Hawaii on August 14-15.


Below is a full list of the competitors who earned spots to represent the US Pokémon Video Game Team at the World Championships where they will face off against competitors from Japan, Germany, France, Spain, and the UK.
