D3 Publisher had some interesting games at E3 in the year of our Lord 2010. Family Friendly Gaming is showcasing many of them on this page, with continued coverage in the magazine.
Despicable Me
Based on Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s 3-D CGI feature film, Despicable Me: The Game lets players of all ages experience the thrill of being despicable (It’s fun!), as they become Gru, one of the world’s greatest supervillains, and plan the biggest heist in history - stealing the moon! Players will command an army of tireless, little yellow minions to complete puzzles and missions and use an arsenal of despicable weapons and gadgets such as magnet guns, freeze rays and battle-ready vehicles to vanquish all who stand in their way. Players will fly Gru’s aircraft in daring missions against his rival, Vector, and play as Gru or Vector in a variety of multiplayer air combat modes. Despicable Me: The Game – Minion Mayhem offers Nintendo DS players an all-new adventure with a unique storyline and exclusive minions to command for hours of entertainment! Look for Despicable Me on the PSP, PS2, Wii, and Nintendo DS on July 6, 2010.

KIDZ BOP, the #1 music brand for kids ages 5-12 in the U.S., has teamed up with D3Publisher to launch KIDZ BOP® Dance Party! The Video Game–the first-ever video game based on the chart-topping music franchise. Available exclusively for Wii this fall, KIDZ BOP® Dance Party! The Video Game features 24 of the biggest KIDZ BOP dance hits, including “Get the Party Started,” “Fire Burning” and “Thriller.” Players can customize their own in-game character and mix and match outfits and accessories for a truly unique look. Five different gameplay modes: Free Play, Challenge, Dance Off, Shop and Dress-Up, will extend the dance party for hours. Players can dance solo, team-up with a friend to dance together in 2 Player Challenge mode, or go head-to-head in Dance Off mode to compete for top score. video game Puzzle Quest 2, announced for Xbox LIVE® Arcade for
the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft
and Nintendo DS™. Puzzle Quest 2 combines its trademark style
with an enhanced real-time experience using all-new weapons,
spells, and shields that make every decision meaningful and
never passive in the deepest puzzle adventure yet. Puzzle Quest
2 is scheduled for release in spring 2010 from D3Publisher.
Puzzle Quest 2 features its hallmark blend of match-3 gem
matching and fantasy, with a simple but meaningful role playing
experience where players can choose any of four character
classes; War Mage, Inquisitor, Barbarian or Assassin. Each
character class provides interesting twists during multiple
play-throughs as players reclaim the once peaceful village of
Verloren from the evil clutch of the demon Gorgon. Players will
be able to level up each character to progress through the
adventure in Story Mode or even dive into Instant Action,
Tournament Mode, or Multiplayer Mode for a rich and diverse
