XSeed Games E3 for Families

Los Angeles, CA (June 8, in the year of our Lord 2009) - Family Friendly Gaming is live in Los Angeles at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). This event is the SuperBowl for the video game industry. Plenty of impressive video games were played, and XSeed Games had some family friendly video games to show off.

Half Minute Hero XSeed Games E3 2009This Playstation Portable (PSP) title is one of the more interesting Family Friendly Gaming has seen in years. Players have thirty seconds to clear various stages. This means the game play will be fast and furious. There are four different modes, and one hundred and twenty different stages. The 8-bit graphics threw me off my game at first, and the hard rock music caught my ear. Half Minute Hero is expected to be released in Fall of 2009. The multiplayer modes included are one of the things that interests Family Friendly Gaming the most.

Lunar Silver Star Harmony XSeed Games E3 2009Alex, Dragonmaster Dyne, Althena (the character who is portrayed as a goddess), Luna, Nail, and plenty more make their return to the video game industry on the Playstation Portable (PSP). Fall of 2009 is when this remake of an old Sega CD video game can be expected. The graphics and sounds have been enhanced on this portable version. There are also some brand new story elements that help answer some questions that were left unresolved by the original. This classic role playing game is turned based.

Little King's Story XSeed Games E3 2009A lengthy demo of Little King's Story on the Wii was exhibited for Family Friendly Gaming at E3. This real time strategy game looks very cute, but will be receiving the 'T' for Teen rating from the ESRB with the descriptors being Crude Humor, Mild Cartoon Violence, Suggestive Themes, and Use of Alcohol. One of the issues families may have with Little King's Story is the conquering of other lands. Various world views are explained in this game, and little children are not prepared for that kind of philosophy. One of the interesting aspects of this game is as the king takes damage his face shows more age. Going to bed and getting some "beauty rest" restores the youthful visage. Little King's Story is for the older members of the family only.

Family Friendly Gaming had hoped for some information on Valhalla Knights Eldar Saga on the Wii. We will continue to work on getting information on that title.
