The Viva Pinata franchise is one of the more adored franchises here at Family Friendly Gaming. So when we found out a Nintendo DS Viva Pinata video game was coming, we had to be one of the first to see it, and play it for ourselves. This fun little wonder of technology was everything we were expecting it to be, and then some. Players get to build their gardens, attract pinatas, stop the bad pinatas (or turn them toward the light), and send gifts to friends. The breeding dances are back, and there are additional tie ins to the television show. This is another video game slotted to be released in September of 2008.
