Empire Interactive Announces Animal Paradise 2

Empire Interactive, a wholly owned subsidiary of Silverstar Holdings (NASDAQ: SSTR), today announced that Animal Paradise 2, the sequel to the very successful Animal Paradise, is currently in development for Nintendo DS™. Animal Paradise 2 will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor bringing a new level of exciting pet simulation fun to new and existing fans of the series.

“Given the tremendous success of Animal Paradise in Europe and our recent announcement to bring the title to the U.S., it’s exciting to also announce the U.S. plans for Animal Paradise 2 on Nintendo DS,” said Karim Farghaly, vice president of sales at Empire Interactive. “Animal Paradise 2 will build on its historical success featuring more animals, more interactivity and more fun than ever before.”

"We are looking forward to bringing Animal Paradise and Animal Paradise 2 for Nintendo DS to the U.S. market,” said Clive Kabatznik, CEO of Silverstar Holdings. “The original title proved to be incredibly popular in Europe and we plan to emulate this success in the U.S.”

Animal Paradise 2 will feature an even greater variety of animals and a completely new game structure; here the emphasis is to develop and manage the growing park and animals, with the aim of creating the greatest Animal Park in the world. The new task and reward system will allow players to unlock new animals and areas while playing all new mini-games. Also set for inclusion is an encyclopedia of animals the player has befriended, providing detailed information about each of the animals and their natural habitats. The game is due to release in mid 2009.
