The WMG has noticed a lot of disunity from a lot of "Christian gamers." Even to the point of attacking those who enjoy the things of God. People who actually call themselves Christians, (on some message boards) but falsely accuse in a real mean spirited fashion anyone who enjoys the current Christian games. Whether those games be The BIBLE Game, or one of the Digital Praise games, or something innovative like ZJ the Ball; the list could go on and on. Heaven forbid if any of us stand up against their evil, vile, and wicked attacks. The WMG has talked to people, and seen the evidence of these "loving Christian gamers" who stalk, pester, and consistantly attack those who lovingly rebuke them.
Where is ya'll's unity in Christ? Ya'll excuse all the moral degeneration in the GTA series, but expect Christian games to be better than everything else out there. Well, morally they are better. They also continue to improve, with each title. Ever think of what you could to do help Christian game developer's out? Ever think of volunteering to make Christian games even better? Ever think about financially supporting them? How many hours have you prayed for them? If you got time to complain about it, you got time to pray for them. Snap out of ya'll's apathy, and join in the Lord's work.
What the WMG feels the real problem is - is some of ya'll are not into thinking about what God cares about. In fact some ya'll seem more interested in what the world has to say about Christian video games. Some people calling themselves "Christian gamers" attack Christian games, but have never played one. That kind of ignorance is frustrating to the WMG. As is the lack of support from "Christian gamers." Well for those who want to sit there, and whine like a toddler throwing a tantrum - the WMG just got your attention.
Now if you are not one of the before described people, know that you are the ones the WMG is standing up for. The WMG knows that a few bad eggs are trying to make it bad for everyone. There are so many more people who take a bold stand for Christ who call themselves "Christian gamer." There are so many wonderful brothers, and sisters in Christ who are running themselves ragged making sure we have good, fun, and moral video games to play. To all of those people creating, building, uplifting, edifying, encouraging, and doing it - the WMG tips his hat off to you. Ya'll are the ones that deserve credit, and even if very few others say so; let the WMG say thank you.
