Game Review Request

The Game Review Requests page has been a wonderful addition to our little site.  A big thank you to each and everyone one of ya'll who has made requests.  We are trying to respond to each and every one of ya'll as time allows.  If the email is not valid (for whatever reason), then you will not get a response. We also filter out joke requests.

For the most popular requests I wanted to let all of ya'll know that Animal Crossing Wild World will be reviewed in FFG #4.  The review is done already, and once the entire mag is done it will be released. Since it has been the most requested game, it will also be fast tracked to the website a month or two after the magazine is released.  Electroplankton has also been reviewed in FFG #4, and is in the same category (with a few less requests).

Viewtiful Joe was next down in the list of popular requests.  It is being played by one of our reviewers, and will be previewed in FFG #4, and get reviewed in FFG #5. No word yet on how it will do in the review, initial reactions are there are some issues with the game in language, and enticement to lust.

Tied as we continue down the list are: Custom Robo, and Super Mario Strikers.  We will be contacting the publishers and requesting reviewable copies.  Depending on how quickly the games arrive for review, will determine how quickly a review for them can appear in the magazine.

Tales of Symphonia (coming in last) was reviewed in FFG #3, and Family Friendly Gaming #3 is available on the store link. It may wind up on the site in the future if demand is high enough. I can tell you it did not score very well on the scale we use.

My hope is, as time allows is to get an index page set up for reviews, and the scores will be available for all our website visitors. Then it will be rather easy to link them up to their own pages as we put certain reviews online for those interested.  It could also lead to a comment box where readers can tell us which reviews they want on the website; and which ones they like, dislike, etc.

God bless you and yours,
