Mega Man #2

It is so neat to be able to get to some of these older comic books that have been sitting in my pile. Mega Man #2 is the latest one to enter my reading realm. Mega Man #2 is part of Let The Games Begin. There are four parts to that storyline. I have no idea how many more of the comics I have within that storyline. Mega Man #2 cost $2.99 when it was originally released to the public. There will be spoilers in this review.

Mega Man #2 contains twenty-two pages of comic book content. Advertisements can be found all throughout the Mega Man #2 comic book. There is a little comic page within Mega Man #2 that is asking readers to send them mail they can publish in future issues of this comic book series. I enjoyed some of the humor within Mega Man #2. The thing that really took me aback about this comic book is the level of emotion.

Rock is the assist to Dr. Light. Rock is slowly converting in Mega Man #2 to Mega Man. Three robot masters are defeated in Mega Man #2. The three robot masters defeated in Mega Man #2 are Bomb Man, Guts Man, and Cut Man. Dr. Light directs Mega Man on which one to take out first, and then use that weapon on the next one in Mega Man #2. The end of Mega Man #2 tells us there are three more robot masters to go.

Dr Wily is also waiting for Rock if all of his robot masters are defeated. I suspect that would happen in the last issue of this storyline. There is a page within Mega Man #2 devoted to the next issue. Mega Man's sister Roll gives him a pep talk at one point. Mega Man is not really that big on using violence to take out these other robots. The problem is they are attacking him. They are not having the same debate.

I enjoyed reading Mega Man #2. I am eager to be able to read more of these comic books in the near future when I can get to them in the pile. Whenever I get completely caught up I may try and find some of the missing ones for reviews as well. That could be a year or more out. Archie Comics did a good job with Mega Man #2. There are also some advertisements within Mega Man #2 that caught my eye.
