Gargoyles Dark Ages #5

I recently found out from another Dynamite comic book that Gargoyles Dark Ages will be wrapping up soon. Gargoyles Dark Ages #5 is not the last one thankfully. Things might be getting closer to their climax after the events of Gargoyles Dark Ages #5. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Gargoyles Dark Ages #5. After that we have a page devoted to the next issue, some advertisements and finally the cover gallery.

The Tale of three brothers part five is also found in Gargoyles Dark Ages #5. I stopped reading those a few issues back honestly. There will be spoilers in this review. The big reveal in Gargoyles Dark Ages #5 is a giant dragon. Gargoyles Dark Ages #5 teaches us that dragons and Gargoyles are related. The dragon thinks of humans are vermin in Gargoyles Dark Ages #5.

There is a bit of magic and mild violence in Gargoyles Dark Ages #5. The dragon wants to eat the human girl that is with the younger Gargoyles in Gargoyles Dark Ages #5. They run away but the dragon is able to easily get out of his cave. Things do not look good for the next issue of this comic book when we get to the end of Gargoyles Dark Ages #5. Maybe cooler heads will prevail.

Gargoyles Dark Ages #5 ends with the dragon coming to the castle. The dragon is not pleased to find out the humans and the Gargoyles formed a pact in this comic book series. The Gargoyles do not even remember the dragon. I guess the Gargoyles are there to protect the dragon. Having humans there is an affront to this dragon. He is big enough to cause all kinds of problems for humans and Gargoyles.

Gargoyles Dark Ages #5 has a bit of humor within it. The art work in Gargoyles Dark Ages #5 continues to look good. I love how the two leaders discuss how to motivate their people to get the castle built faster. The storyline in this series has been very fascinating thus far. I am very curious to see how Gargoyles Dark Ages will wrap things up. I know the humans and Gargoyles will split somehow.
