X-Men Legends #1

I ran across the X-Men Legends comic book series recently. I was missing the first couple of issues. So I had to purchase the older issues online because I could not find them at our local comic book stores. I love starting from the beginning whenever I can. I have now read X-Men Legends #1 and it is generally what I thought it would be. There will be spoilers in this review of X-Men Legends #1.

Ads can be found throughout the X-Men Legends #1 comic book. There are twenty pages of content within X-Men Legends #1. I had a feeling that X-Men Legends #1 would be about the early days of the X-Men. I am completely right about that. In X-Men Legends #1 Wolverine is trying to take down The Hulk. The big green and not very bright version of The Hulk too. Wolverine does not get it done as Weapon X in the time limit. So the soldiers gas The Hulk. The Hulk wakes up and leaves.

The issues families will have with X-Men Legends #1 are blood, violence, and more. Wolverine then teams up with Jack Winters. Jack is completely made out of diamonds. The two teleport to America to try and get some mutants. At the end of X-Men Legends #1 they come face to face with some of the original X-Men. It looks like a fight will ensue very soon in the next issue of this comic book. Wolverine really likes to fight in X-Men Legends #1.

Wolverine and Jack Winters have it out in X-Men Legends #1 as well. Wolverine wants to leave but Jack wants to get in good graces with his superiors. We also learn that Jack does not have insides like the rest of us. Wolverine stabs him in the abdomen with all six claws in X-Men Legends #1. Jack goes down and then gets up and heals pretty quickly. I am not sure why Wolverine had to rest up after fighting The Hulk. His healing factor should kick in.

X-Men Legends #1 reminds me of older X-Men comics I read when I was younger. That is one of the things I like about X-Men Legends #1. I have more comics in this series to read. I hope it continues on for a bit. I am sure there are plenty of older X-Men stories that were never told. X-Men Legends #1 is rated for thirteen and older only. So keep that mind if you plan on purchasing X-Men Legends #1 for your kids.
