The Addams Family 2

I am so thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of The Addams
Family 2 movie on DVD. This animated film is the sequel to the one I
reviewed earlier in 2022. I must say that I am not that much into the
sequel. This poorly marketed and advertised franchise was only noticed
because of Black Friday sales. These companies need to step up their
game. They have missed out on millions of families by not engaging
Family Friendly Gaming. There will be spoilers in this review.
Wednesday is becoming increasingly moody and anti-social in The Addams
Family 2. Gomez decides that a family trip is what they need. They do
odd things like jump off Niagra Falls in barrels. Many of the things
done in The Addams Family 2 are macabre and morbid. There is also some
cartoon violence, and bad language within The Addams Family 2. The
macabre and morbid is kept generally tame for the PG rating.
Wednesday experiments on Uncle Fester and winds up turning him into a
giant monster that is part octopus. The splicing of human and animal DNA
is a major part of the storyline within The Addams Family 2. Cyrus
convinces Wednesday that he is her real father in The Addams Family 2.
In fact at one point it looks like he is her father after she does a DNA
test on Gomez. We later learn that the hair on Gomez’s head actually
comes from a sasquatch.
There are some humorous moments within The Addams Family 2. I wish
Wednesday was a bit nicer to her brother Pugsley. There is one cringe
moment within The Addams Family 2 where all the kids at the science fair
are declared the winner. Wednesday is not very pleased and show what
happens when that radical far left liberal belief is applied in the real
world. I will give you a hint - it fails just like the economic policies
of Joe Biden.
Cousin Itt makes an appearance in The Addams Family 2. He is a strange
character that actually helps numerous family members within The Addams
Family 2. Gomez wants to help his children so badly in Addams Family 2.
I wish they were a bit more receptive to his love. In the end the bad
guy is vanquished and Uncle Fester is returned to his normal self. I
hope there is not a third movie since it is wearing thin already.
